Prior Work Experience:
Prior to joining InvesTech Research, Eli Petropoulos was the lead strategist for a private wealth management firm, where his role included asset allocation utilizing macroeconomic, fundamental, and technical analysis. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Gonzaga University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA) designation.
Role at InvesTech:
As InvesTech’s Senior Market Analyst, Eli provides historical research, develops new technical indicators, and analyzes current market data in light of our “safety-first” investment strategy. In addition, he is responsible for developing and maintaining InvesTech’s internal analytical software which interfaces with our extensive database of over 120 years of market data. Finally, he keeps subscribers up to date on today’s markets by writing the online Market Insights, the Weekly InvesTech Hotline, and contributing to each InvesTech publication.
When not in the office:
In his free time, Eli enjoys spending time outdoors with his young family, reading, lifting weights, and cheering on the Zags basketball team.
